A blend of rugged countryside and lively cosmopolitan culture, South Wales has plenty to offer, all within reach of our Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach, Penally Court, and Quay West holiday parks.

Year-round

Roath Farmers Market
Where: Mackintosh Sports Club, Keppoch Street, CF24 3JW
When: Every Saturday, 9.30am to 1pm
Celebrating the best of local produce, the Roath market is bursting with unique culinary and household treats to sample and buy. There are different traders throughout the year, offering seasonal goods like fruit, veg, and flowers, plus baked goods and even handcrafted paintings and scented candles. Find it in the sports club car park.
April

Barley Saturday
When: 26 April 2025
Where: Ceredigion, SA43 1JL
This important local event celebrates Ceredigion’s farming history and has been held on the last Saturday of April every year since the 19th century. Expect beautiful horses, and parades of vintage cars, tractors, floats and wagons.

Carten 100
When: 10 May 2025
Where: Starts Cardiff, ends Tenby
Now in its 21st year, Carten 100 sees over 1800 cyclists tackle the 100-mile route from Cardiff to Tenby. Billed as a challenge, but not a race, its relaxed atmosphere makes this a popular event with both competitors and spectators.

Westival
When: 5-9 June 2025
Where: Shipping Hill Farm, The Ridgeway, Manorbier SA70 8LE
The small festival with a big heart, Westival brings a diverse music line-up to the Pembrokeshire countryside. With DJ sets, daytime activities, boat parties and chillout zones, it’s “a slice of rave euphoria in rural wales” (MixMag).

Big Love Festival
Where: Gwehelog, Usk, NP15 1HS
When: 17-20 July 2025
Touted as the friendliest small festival in the UK, they’re inviting the whole family to enjoy the music and activities this year! There are 130 music acts across the four-day event, plus circus and cabaret shows. Join in the fun with family-friendly activities like DJ academy and hat making workshops! Fancy something more chill? Opt for morning yoga or a well-being therapy session.
Wales Airshow
Where: In the skies above Swansea Bay
When: 5-6 July 2025
You don’t need to be a hardcore aviation fan to enjoy this spectacular display over the summer. Thousands of aircraft take to the skies in breathtaking displays over two days at Swansea Bay! You’ll see military craft, air acrobatics, and ground displays like metal detecting and combat vehicles, too. When you’ve worked up an appetite, there’s usually plenty of food and drinks to go around at the stands across the bay.
Love Trails Festival for Runners
Where: Weobley Castle, West Castle Farm, Llanrhidian, Swansea, Gower, Glamorgan, SA3 1HB
When: 10-13 July 2025
Combining a love of running with nature and fab live music, Love Trails is a truly unique event you won’t want to miss. Trails start at 5km all the way up to 27km for seasoned long-distance runners–you’ll explore all the best of the wild in South Wales. Join a talk, go rock climbing, or try your hand at surfing! Tired? Rest your weary feet in the hot tubs or on a wild swim. And don’t forget the music–there are DJ sets and live bands to dance your socks off to.

World Bog Snorkelling Championships
Where: Llanwrtyd Wells, Waen Rydd bog
When: 24 August 2025, 10am
If you really want to try something totally different, give bog snorkelling a go–you could have what it takes to be a champion! Lonely Planet says it’s one of the top 50 things to try around the world! The rules are simple; doggy paddle a length of the bog in the fastest time. If you don’t fancy getting wet, come along for a fun day of food, drinks, entertainment, and much more. There’s a free shuttle bus and cheap parking if you’re coming by car.

Abergavenny Food Festival
Where: Raglan Chambers, 63 Frogmore St, Abergavenny, NP7 5AU
When: 20-21 September 2025
Foodies rejoice–this nationally recognised food festival offers more than just a food market. Over 190 traders and exhibitors come to share their wares, and you’ll get to watch live chef demos from the brightest talents in the UK. There’s even a cookery school for kids! You’ll need to book in advance but there’s so much entertainment on offer that you’ll have a jam-packed two days.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments for 7 years
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset for 7 years’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset for 7 years’ is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion.
An example of how ‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset for 7 years’ operates under Let2offset is the purchase of an Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and the monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures.
Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed.
