What our team and owners love about Dorset
There’s lots to do in the local area and Littlesea is a superb base to explore Dorset from. A visit to the SeaLife Centre or Monkey World has to be on your itinerary for a day filled with fun and helping little minds to grow.
Weymouth and the surrounding area boasts something for everyone. Get your steps in exploring the Jurassic Coast, let your tastebuds explore at our local restaurants, markets, breweries or vineyards, and for the more energetic, enjoy a number of excursions or activities on land and sea.
Littlesea is the perfect location for families with four-legged friends. Many of our guests love taking in the beautiful sea views on our coastal path walks. We are in such a great catchment for amazing seaside, coastal and forest walks. My dog particularly loves exploring Puddletown Forest or the woods at Hardy Monument.
It makes me happy to be an owner at Littlesea as it means we always have somewhere to stay on the coast and somewhere friends and family can come and enjoy with us. We also enjoy the community feel around the park and the other owners have been very welcoming. The staff are all very friendly too, which makes our time at Littlesea even more pleasurable.
Head to Bowleaze Cove where you will find the Sunset Bar and Restaurant. Great food and drink right on the beach!
Parts of Weymouth beach are dog friendly, so pop on down and let the dog have a great run around!
With easy access to the beach (a 10-minute walk) Weymouth Bay is in a prime location, surrounded by lots of countryside.
You can take a stroll down to the Beach Cafe, which even has dog-friendly areas, or visit Upton Country Park which is a great day out for the whole family.
Poole Park is perfect for all weathers: The Ark located inside the park has a big soft play area, or you can take in the park's open outdoor space.
We enjoy being an owner at Rockley as we dock our boat in the secure boatyard here. We call 30 minutes before and then can take the family for a picnic and day out on the water.
