Three of the best beaches in Somerset
1. Main Beach, Weston-super-Mare
A staple of Somerset's seaside scene, Main Beach at Weston-super-Mare makes for a brilliant beach day. Build sandcastles, eat ice cream, fish and chips, play in the arcades or take a donkey ride. There's even the Grand Pier which nowadays is filled with exciting rides.
2. Doniford Beach, Doniford
You'll have direct access to this lovely beach from our Doniford Bay Holiday Park. There's sand, mud, but also amazing rock formations and fossils, so it's a must-visit for treasure hunters! It's a great spot for families, too, with rock pools to explore and amazing views across to Wales.
3. Burnham Beach, Burnham-on-Sea
Not far from our Burnham-on-Sea Holiday Park, Burnham Beach is perfect for sandcastle-making and picnic-eating. Its famous pier is also close at hand, so you can explore its shops and cafes. Ice cream, anyone?
