Three things to do on a weekend in Scotland

    1. Head to the beach

Both of our Scottish parks are located close to lovely beaches, with stunning coastal views to enjoy. Take in the surroundings on a seaside stroll at the beach across the road from Seton Sands, with its beautiful Firth of Forth views. Craig Tara’s beach is perfect for exploring rockpools, with views over the Heads of Ayr cliffs.

    2. Visit Edinburgh

You can take a quick trip to Edinburgh from our Seton Sands Holiday Village. Stroll along the Royal Mile, visit Edinburgh Castle and ramble up to Arthur’s Seat, or sample a tipple or two on a Scotch Whisky experience or an Edinburgh Gin Distillery tour.

    3. Explore Robert Burns’ former home

The village of Alloway – close to our Craig Tara Holiday Park – is home to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. Housed in the cottage where he was born, it displays books, manuscripts and collectors’ items, with a beautiful garden and Burns-themed play area for younger visitors.
