Three of the best beaches in Devon
1. Exmouth Beach, Exmouth
Exmouth Beach is locally adored for its two miles of golden sand, which make for a postcard perfect day at the beach. Its waters are also more than welcoming, with a great range of water sports to try out, including kite surfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding or windsurfing.
2. Sandy Bay, at our Devon Cliffs Holiday Park
Nestled below our Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, you'll find this secluded, sandy bay! You'll find lots of rock pools to explore, and a beach that's just made for building sandcastles and splashing in the sea.
3. Sidmouth Beach/Jacob's Ladder Beach, Sidmouth
Less than half an hour's drive from Devon Cliffs is Sidmouth - known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Stunning red cliffs back the sand and shingle here, and you'll find plenty of amenities nearby. Jacob's Ladder, the western end of Sidmouth's beach, is a series of wooden steps which you can conquer for incredible views of the coastline.
