Top activities on park for children under five

You can’t beat a bear hug especially when you’ve created the bear yourself. The bond is created as you lovingly fill the bear’s body with cuddly filling and tenderly warm a heart to place inside too. Once you’ve named your new friend, you’ll dress him or her in a t-shirt you’ve designed and receive a certificate with all the bear’s details – a lovely keepsake to take home with your bear.

Bring out your little one's sporty side with these interactive Activitots sessions. Designed for children aged 2-4 with adult supervision, there are Athletics, Ball Sports, Bat and Ball Sports, Balance and Coordination Skills, and Mini Sport classes to try out, with separate sessions for children aged 5+.

They’ll always remember when they first get behind the wheel, just like their special grown up in their life. The freedom to manoeuvre the track on their own as they get up to speeds of 4mph. Don’t worry if this makes you twitchy, you follow behind and can stop their vehicle before any collisions.

Once they’ve got into a sticky mess and they’ve mixed up their gloopy goo, they’ll get to decorate it with sea shell shapes or other items that take their fancy. It's then ready to take it away with them as a holiday memento.

It’s funny, how much pride is created when they first make something from scratch, even when the finished result can resemble something you’d find up your nose! As you can imagine, kids love it and it's likely to become one of their treasured possessions.

Do your tots love climbing over the furniture? Then the Mini Aerial Adventures at Haven are definitely for them. They have a range of obstacles, just like the grown-up Aerial Adventures, but are designed for little arms and leg, and at just 1 metre off the floor your tots will be challenged rather than scared.

This is a great activity to enjoy alongside your tot. Our friendly park Rangers are very knowledgeable about the local bugs and creepy crawlies, and will give you lots of interesting facts. They also know their best hiding spots, so it’s a bit of a one-sided game of hide and seek, but once discovered and looked at they’ll get put back safely into their cosy hideaway.

Our Adventure Golf is arguably the best activity for an uninterrupted great time with all the family. You book a slot; we hand you what you need and then it's over to you all to get round the course. Little ones will love having a go themselves, with colourful and loveable surprises along every step of every hole. Several have more than one different way to get the ball into that elusive hole, and there’s more than your classic crazy golf windmill.

Our parks are great places for your tots to get confident on two wheels. Many of our parks are flat and there’s pathways and quiet roads to journey along.

If you can’t get your bikes in the car, we have bikes to hire on park, with options for children of different ages and heights, including balance bikes. There’re also adult bikes with trailers available, so tired little legs doesn’t have to mean exploration ends.
