Haven Exclusive owners only caravan parks
At Haven, we’re famous for our unrivalled range of holiday parks that are dotted up and down the country in some of the most scenic coastal locations in the UK.
With every passing year, holidaymakers flock for an escape from the hustle and bustle, and our number of owners keeps growing as people continue to see the value in a holiday home to call their own, a place to stay at as and when they want. Getting the balance between the two concepts right on our parks is a constant challenge for our professional park team, but at three parks this is made irrelevant. There are three extra special owners-only caravan parks in the Haven family, each providing a real recluse from reality. We’ll tell you more about these hidden gems in this article.
1. Cardigan View, Porthmadog, North Wales
Cardigan View is an owners-only caravan park that dreams are made of. Sat on the picturesque Cardigan Bay (or Bae Ceredigion as it’s affectionately known as in the Welsh language), the place is a real paradise that functions brilliantly as an exclusive hideaway for owners. The holiday homes here are steps from the delightful dunes of Black Rock Sands, one of Wales’ best beaches and a great place to stretch the legs and sample the salty sea breeze. Porthmadog is also within walking distance, a handy place to stock up on all the essentials and enjoy an extra restaurant or two. Regardless of whether you’re in the park or in its vicinity, you’ll see Snowdonia spectacularly tower over the horizon in all its glory.
Cardigan View’s owners-only status gives those who set up home here the best of both worlds. All the facilities on park are bereft of holidaymakers, making them more accessible than ever throughout the year. These include a gym, sauna and swimming pool that awesomely add to the package in this corner of North Wales. For even more adventurous owners, Cardigan’s sister park at Greenacres is on hand to give you unlimited access to their larger load of activities. Greenacres and Cardigan View are quite literally attached at the hip, so a short walk is all it takes to continue the adventure here.
2. Garreg Wen, Porthmadog, North Wales
Another owners-only caravan park in North Wales, Garreg Wen is also in the vicinity of Cardigan View and can be described as another sibling of our Greenacres Holiday Park. Garreg Wen stands slightly further inland, with no shortage of picturesque views provided by the River Dwyryd that glistens come rain or shine. Garreg Wen is home to some of the most secluded spots in the whole Haven family, making it a park that’s in constant demand amongst prospective owners looking for a location that ticks every box.
The park is another that gives as much or as little to do as you want. Surrounded by the beauty of Snowdonia and the aforementioned Black Rock Sands, there’s also a soothing swimming pool and lounge that adds to the relaxing feel you can come to expect here. Again, you’re free to make use of the larger facilities on offer at Greenacres, which couldn’t be more conveniently placed to the west. A five-minute stroll and you’re there and ready to enjoy.
3. Far Grange, Skipsea, Yorkshire
The peaceful owners-only caravan park at Far Grange is a stupendous place for a hideaway that you can return to time after time. Nestled on the Yorkshire coast, it’s within beautiful surroundings and has a refreshing air of exclusivity about it. The historic town of Skipsea is a short distance to the north, complete with a castle that harks back to the 11th-century. Bordering a beach of its own, you’re at the southern end of uninterrupted sand that stretches the whole way up to bustling Bridlington, a coastal gem if ever we saw one.
Cool caravans caress the clifftops here, and with luxury lodges sat amongst the woodland, there’s an authentic feel of peace and quiet about Far Grange. There’s an incredible 18-hole golf course at the park, great for those looking to perfect their game whilst they’re away from their first home. A swimming pool is on hand during the day and evening, and there are a range of other activities that are, of course, exclusive to owners here. Dogs are welcome too, so no furry friend ever misses out.
