Organised by Visit Scarborough, these walking tours take in South Bay and the Esplanade, the old town and the modern town centre – with the option to make the tour longer if you want to see even more.
Sewerby parkrun
When: Every Saturday at 9am
Where: Sewerby Hall, Sewerby
Everyone is welcome at the Sewerby parkrun. This inclusive event is suitable for everyone, regardless of how fast you are. Buggies and dogs are also welcome! The 5k event happens on a weekly basis and is FREE to enter. Just head to parkrun UK’s website to register and get your barcode for the event.

Whitby Goth Weekend, Bizarre Bazaar Market
Where: Whitby Leisure Centre and Whitby Brunswick Centre
When: TBC (previously 26-28 April 2024)
If you have alternative tastes, the Bizarre Bazaar might be right up your street. It’s a popular part of the Whitby Goth Weekend with over 100 stalls featuring crystals, collectibles, clothes, and curiosities. It’s indoor, so the April showers shouldn’t put a damper on things. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, grab a bite to eat and watch some alternative live entertainment!

Ossett Beercart
Where: Market Place, Ossett, WF5 8BE
When: Friday 30-Saturday 31 May, 7-11pm
What better way to spend the May sunshine than with a free beer festival? And it’s family-friendly! The event opens in the town hall with a procession through the town by hundreds of Morris dancers. There’s food, rides, stalls–and of course, plenty of craft ales, ciders, and wines.

Beverley Folk Festival

Hearty Festival

When: Friday 25-Sunday 27 July 2025
This award-winning vineyard makes the perfect setting for a sun-drenched music and beer festival. Join in the family fun with live acoustic sets and delicious local food–-washed down with a selection of artisan drinks. Past events have included inflatables and even bin drumming for younger visitors! Make sure you book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Great Yorkshire Show
Where: Regional Agricultural Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Railway Road, Harrogate HG2 8NZ
When: 8-11 July 2025
To celebrate farming and the great outdoors, this annual event packs in a wide selection of fun exhibits, stunt shows, and retailers. Watch stunt bikes in the arena area, learn about cattle farming, and even catch cookery theatre hosted by regional chefs! There’s plenty of parking and a free shuttle bus to and from the Harrogate bus station.
British Wildlife Photography Awards exhibition
Where: Nunnington Hall, Nunnington, near York, North Yorkshire, YO62 5UY
When: May-July 2025
Take a walk on the wild side and visit the BWPA’s beautiful exhibition from the UK’s most talented wildlife photographers. The exhibit aims to celebrate the diversity in British nature. You’ll find the display on the top floor of Nunnington Hall.

RSPB Diving Gannets Seabird Cruises
When: 2, 6, 17 and 20 August 2025
Where: Bridlington Harbour, Yorkshire Belle Stand, Bridlington YO15 1JF
Witness these incredible seabirds up close, in a memorable three-hour cruise hosted by RSPB Bempton Cliffs. You’ll see gannets diving and showing off their impressive six-foot wingspan, all with expert commentary onboard. You may even spot a puffin or two!

Let2offset - make no site fee payments for 7 years
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset for 7 years’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset for 7 years’ is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion.
An example of how ‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset for 7 years’ operates under Let2offset is the purchase of an Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and the monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures.
Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. The modelled assumptions are based on the historical performance of Haven over the past 5 years of trading as of 2024.
