Three great things about Lincolnshire
A huge region to be explored
By choosing to holiday in Lincolnshire, you’ll be basing yourself in the second-largest ceremonial English county, offering plenty of wonderful attractions to explore and discover.
Lincolnshire Wolds
This designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a vast, scenic and unique area of countryside, with lush greenery, picturesque villages and that all-important breath of fresh air to enjoy.
Historic county-town of Lincoln
For all its rural beauty, Lincolnshire is also home to one of England’s most historic towns. A great day out regardless of when you stay, the traditional English architecture, relaxed atmosphere and endless things to do will have the whole family satisfied.
Lincolnshire holidays can also be a wonderful chance to explore a county steeped in history. The Roman arches in the city of Lincoln date back to the 3rd century BC, while Lincoln Castle is home to one of the four surviving copies of the Magna Carta. If you're looking for ways to make the little ones happy, visiting wild animals is always a winner. There are loads of wildlife and animal parks here – you could take the Tiger Tour at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, or meet the various creatures at the seal sanctuaries in Mablethorpe and Skegness. Or if you prefer your wildlife in the great outdoors, North East Lincolnshire is known as Bird Airport by locals, for the sheer number of birds that flock there.

Take a trip to visit Louth – it has loads of shops and is a nice market town to explore.
Skegness is blessed with an outstanding beach and fantastic visitor attractions such as Fantasy Island theme park, Hardy’s Animal Farm and Skegness Aquarium. There is enough variety for all the family!
The beach opposite the park allows dogs to be off lead all year round so they can run around as much as they want!
The Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is an outstanding place of natural beauty and is known for its impressive views and sheer scale and diversity of wildlife. It has a wonderful viewing point and cafe to enjoy afterwards.
Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary is close to the park and easy to get to - little ones will love spotting the seals.
There are many dog-friendly beaches in the area however our favourites are the South Bracing beach or Anderby Creek beach with miles of sand for dogs to explore and run wild.
