This can all be viewed from the area around the slipway which provides a good vantage point. The bustling atmosphere, flanked by charming boats and coastal views, offers an enchanting experience. Breathe in the salty sea breeze and watch the world go by.

The Maritime Museum

The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway

Another railway delight in Porthmadog is The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway which offers a journey aboard historic narrow-gauge railway carriages, transporting you to and from Pen-y-Mount station, departing from Porthmadog (WHHR) Station.

On the return trip, you'll have a chance to pause for approximately half an hour, exploring the comprehensive all-weather, interactive railway heritage centre. Additionally, there are opportunities to experience a ride on our miniature railway.
